This is important because as a result of any clinic profile change, the system functionality re-instates any sessions that were cancelled or on hold at the time of the session profile change. This is not a system error, and changes to session profiles should be treated as new sessions (for example, sessions that are not required need to be cancelled). Once clinic session changes are completed and have been generated, it is very important to re-visit any sessions that were previously noted as cancelled or on hold and cancel them again or put them on hold (if still relevant). Failure to do this could result in sessions being booked into, and patients attending for their appointments where no clinicians are available to see them.
